This week has challenged us all in new ways. Take time to spread kindness and gratitude to bring joy to others and yourself!

Grab a pen

  1. Send a thoughtful text to a friend, family member, or someone you haven’t spoken to in a while to let them know you’re thinking of them.

  2. Write a letter sharing life updates and checking in with loved ones. We all love snail mail!

  3. Drop an inspirational note for a coworker through your office chat or Slack.

  4. Share thank you notes with essential workers to extend your gratitude for their courage and resilience.

Use your legs

  1. Return all the carts at the grocery store next time you go food shopping.

  2. Go for a walk and bring a trash bag to pick up any litter along the way. You can also seek out a dirty area of the road or beach for a full cleanup.

Pay it forward

  1. Put a five or ten dollar bill into your partner or roommate’s pocket. It will make their day!

  2. Donate a few things that no longer serve you or bring you joy. This could include clothing, towels, or canned food.

  3. Support a friend’s small business by purchasing a gift card or product from their store. They’ll appreciate your support and you can check one gift-buying task off your list.

  4. Contribute to a charity that aligns with your beliefs and passions. We donate to the ACLU, Feeding America, and De Manos Con Amor, and there are so many to choose from.
