Q&A with Beth
What do you do to manage stress?
Go for a walk with my dog, journal, and take a epsom salt/essential oil bath.
How do you prioritize your mental health at work?
I take breaks to eat and read away from work/desk and make a list in the morning to prioritize tasks for the day and give perspective.
What is your favorite practice for mental fitness and why?
Meditation on my Shakti mat.
What do you love about being a Liberate leader?
I love the empowerment it gives to others, makes something as large and vast as mental health can be, and simplifies it, in attainable ways for the workplace and life. I love seeing that connection as the classes unfold.
Personal mantra?
“Trade your expectations for appreciation and your whole world changes” - Tony Robbins
We believe that mental fitness should be accessible and approachable for the masses. Otherwise, you and your people miss out on all of the benefits that mindfulness has to offer, like lower stress levels, heightened focus, better mood, more sound sleep, and stronger relationships.
Liberate was founded on the belief that health is multi-dimensional. We exist to help teams and individuals prioritize mental wellbeing and build a mental health toolkit.
