Q&A with Kat

What do you do to manage stress?

Take a warm bath with Epsom salt and candles, play with my dog Chase, and do some light stretching while listening to frequencies.

How do you prioritize your mental health at work?

Take a mid- day break to disconnect, turn off notifications after I turn off my computer, and no TV or computers in my bedroom.

What is your favorite practice for mental fitness and why?

Going to a quiet room where I can be alone and journaling. It’s my favorite practice because it helps me get whatever I’m feeling, whatever is bothering me out on paper and usually what I have to do comes to me while journaling, because I already have all of the answers within me- journaling just brings it out.

What do you love about being a Liberate leader?

I love seeing how just one class can make a difference in someone’s day and life- it’s so powerful.

Personal mantra?

We are in charge of our beliefs, thoughts, and emotions.
