How are you doing today?
I’m doing ok.
It still surprises me how good and bad truly co-exist together. I personally was on a total high after leading our in-person Gratitude Workshop in LA this weekend – I felt like I was floating and was full of joy. And yet still, the next day I felt low, sad, and empty (Sunday Scaries were real).
Rather than focusing on the heaviness of that dichotomy, I am focusing on the magic of it all. How cool is it that even in bad, good exists? On a bad day, I can reflect on a memory or connect with something/someone in real time that reminds me of good.
If you’re going through it right now, know that you’re not alone. Make a pleasure list and remind yourself that good and levity exist in abundance.
